Sheshadri K R is a PhD candidate at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in the Department of Computation and Data Sciences (CDS). He is currently working on developing a reliable data store for IoT edge and examining QoS frameworks for Serverless computing. Sheshadri has a strong background in software engineering, having previously worked as a senior software engineer at Samsung R & D in Bangalore. In this role, he was responsible for developing new features and test cases for the Smartthings android application in Java. Prior to this, Sheshadri worked as a software applications developer at Robert Bosch and Engineering Solutions. He has also worked as a teaching assistant at the International Institute of Information Technology, where he conducted labs for the Scripting and Computing Environments (CSE505) course taught by Dr. Suryakanth V Gangashetty. Sheshadri has a diverse educational background, having completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore Institute of Technology, a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Information Security from the International Institute of Information Technology, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Serverless computing and Function as a Service (FaaS) at IISc. Sheshadri's technical skills include research, software engineering, Android development, mobile development, testing, and Java. With 1.35 years of relevant experience, he is a highly motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for technology and a desire to make a positive impact in the field of data science and computing.
